I’m so yearning for spring, already. Can you tell? But isn’t this quote just so true! We know and sense that God’s all around us. Still, it seems easier to be near to Him in nature, without the complications of mankind getting in the way. It reminds me of Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God. “ The crazier and busier life gets, the more I crave this quiet and “real” time…. almost as if it were air or water.

It’s easy to get into a rut, staying inside the security of our “comfort zones.” I guess analysis paralysis falls in that realm too. Bottom line? If you never do anything differently, you’ll keep getting the same results… whether in business, in relationships, in finances, in life. Nobody ever wins all the time.. but I think that if you choose to never play, you always lose.

I like this mental image. And, no matter how difficult things are, there’s always something to be grateful for. Perfect for today. Had a difficult day at work today, and got home in a lousy mood. But, pausing to think about the things that I can (and should be) thankful for… it helps put it all in perspective, it grounds me.
